Program Coordinator

Malachi Corbett is the youth pastor at New Hope Church. Before he was a youth pastor, he served as a music minister at other churches. Malachi is a pastor's kid. He grew up in church. He started paying music since he was 6 years old, and started playing music in church when he was 9 years old. Malachi has been faithful in music playing in church for over 15 years and continuing to do so. He plays drums, piano, bass guitar, acoustic/electric guitar, alto saxophone, and sings. He has traveled all over the United States playing for artists such as Eddie James, Javaris Wright, Dante Bowe, Aaron Moses, etc. Not only is he a musician, but he is full of faith. He teaches music, but he also teaches what music is and why it plays such an important part in the Bible and how we worship God through music.
